“It can be useful for the development of a more creative society, tourism, culture and history,” he said.
He is confident and believes that learning from previous experiences, such as a study center like this, is optimistic that he can run, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Indeed, activities like this must be supported and must be facilitated, because indeed the diversity of our historical cultures must be promoted,” he said.

Meanwhile, SMB IV hopes that with this study center, hopefully more and more people will pay attention to economic and cultural aspects based on history so that this creative economy can be developed together with history and culture so that it can be meaningful and valuable to society.

“Hopefully this institution can run and we will always support activities for community development,” he said.
Director of the Palembang Tamansiswa University Postgraduate Program, Dr. Yoyok Hendarso MA, said that if his party does not only talk about tourism but also talks about history, culture, which is now considered by the public has begun to disappear.
“That is the first basis of our commitment to open and inaugurate the Study Center” Center for Creative Economy, Tourism, Inheritance and Culture (Cetic), the loss of culture can also be local wisdom, that loss is because of the development of technology, communication which until now has it could erode local cultures which should have included cultural values that are now starting to disappear, “he said

In addition to that, another reason is that he opened this study center where tourism has opportunities, opportunities that are supported by culture.

“There are many examples in other countries that promote tourism with culture, we can’t just talk about it at the concept level, we have to realize how culture and history can be directly related to the development of tourism and creative economy in Palembang and South Sumatra,” he said.

Chairman of the Center for Creative Economy, Tourism, Inheritance and Culture (Cetic) Study Center Akhmad Muftizar Zawawi Sip Med hopes that in the future this study center can exist and become the only reference.

“Because we are in Palembang, we should have, because we are a historical city, the oldest city, legendary, said the Chancellor, we want to exist, if possible in the future we will just have to play in existing resources, so Palembang people want to study anything. Do we use Palembang people, South Sumatra people themselves, it’s time we played our own region, ”he said.

The future plan in December will be to hold a webinar by inviting speakers, former ambassadors for Slovakia and Thailand and January will be the ambassador of Egypt, his name is Dr Luthfi Rauf who will fill the seminar and how he shared his experiences when he was in Thailand, because the city of Palembang is city of water equal to Bangkok.

He also hopes for support from related agencies and stakeholders.
“That’s why I said that the first media, then the other agencies, we cannot exist, we can live if there is no media covering it or let’s say that ordered the project from the agencies,” he said.#osk
